Fuller bust swimwear (DD+) : the struggle continues

Fuller bust swimwear (DD+) : the struggle continues

Firstly, I hope you’re all having a fab Summer! I am off on my week long holiday to Ibiza in just over a week and I cannot wait.

I love Summer fashion, but having a bigger bust, it can be a struggle finding the perfect bikini. Already this year, I’ve had to return 4 bikinis. I guess it depends where you buy them from and I do find you pay more for better fitting swimwear. Whenever I try to save money and opt for something cheaper it rarely fits me properly. Sizes vary from place to place, but I have to give most high street shops a miss.

I envy girls who can wear a pretty, little triangle bikini! However, things are looking up slightly for us DD+ ladies. New Look now have a DD+ swimwear range this year which I haven’t noticed before and ASOS also lots of different brands, who feature fuller bust (DD+) swimwear.

I guess for me, it’s finding a bikini in my size that I actually like. I remember in my late teens hating most DD+ ranges as it seemed to only cater for those who wanted to look frumpy and outdated. Every woman deserves to feel and look their best on the beach!

Like I said though, times are changing and more and more stores and brands are catering for bigger busts.

So, I’ve been on a mission for the past few months, finding gorgeous bikinis from a range of brands at a range of prices. I hope you find my suggestions helpful – I’d love to hear yours – surely it’s not just me that goes through this every year!?
